Kathmandu, June 21, 2024 — Manaslu School proudly launched its innovative and landmark educational initiative, the “3E Program,” designed to integrate Education, Entrepreneurship, and Employment for grade 11 and 12 students. The launch event took place at the school auditorium, attracting around 700 SEE graduates.
The event began with the arrival and registration of guests, followed by the national anthem and an inauguration ceremony led by Mr. Hari Prasad Bhatta, Chairman of Manaslu Educational Institute (P.) Ltd. The keynote speech was delivered by Mr. Rajan Bikram Thapa, Director of Nepal Rastra Bank, focusing on “Preparing Future Proof Youths: Integrating Education with Entrepreneurship and Employment (3E).”
The highlight of the event was a panel discussion moderated by Mr. Suraj Raj Pandey, Co-Founder & CEO of FiBRO, featuring notable industry leaders such as Mr. Binay Khadka (CEO, Khalti Digital Wallet), Mr. Ismaran Duwadi (Co-founder and CEO, CodeHimalaya), Mr. Kedar Chaulagain (CEO, NepMeds), and Mr. Vivek Prakash (Co-founder & CEO, Codingal, India). They shared insights on the vital role of education in fostering entrepreneurship and preparing students for the workforce.
In his welcome speech, Mr. Naresh Prasad Shrestha, CEO of Manaslu School, emphasized the program’s commitment to providing students with diverse opportunities to develop practical skills alongside academic knowledge. The “3E” initiative is aimed at making students not just employable but also capable of creating employment opportunities, thus contributing to the economy.
The event also featured an exhibition of youth start-ups and ICT initiatives, showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit and innovative projects of the students. This was followed by a lively entertainment session, including dance performances by Grade 10 girls, songs by SEE graduates, and a band performance by Freak Street Band, wrapping up the day with music and fun.
Manaslu School’s 3E Program is set to redefine secondary education by equipping students with the skills necessary for both higher education and the job market.
